    At field (physics) in the section The traditional idea of field bundles and its problems it has been pointed out that that for a gauge theory to be formulate both true to the gauge principle as well as to the locality principle, it has to refine local nets of observables from being set-valued to being groupoid valued and (co-)stacky.

    Nobody however had looked into this in the context of AQFT. The entry cited one article that was at least the first to realize the problem. We had then met and talked a bit, and now these authors have come out with what looks like an excellent article that does it right:
